According to Section 6 of Article 34 of the Workers’ Statute, approved by Royal Decree 2/2015 of 23 October, organisations are required to draw up a work calendar each year and display a copy in a visible place at each workplace.
To help you meet this obligation, we’ve created the STEL Tempo Calendars.
And, as always, we’ve also taken the opportunity to introduce several improvements and small features that make the software you use even better.

STEL Tempo Calendars
If you’re not yet using STEL Tempo to easily manage employee working hours and absences, we invite you to start — you can discover more about STEL Tempo.
If you’re already a STEL Tempo user, you may have missed the ability to manage public holiday calendars. With this version, you can now set up your employees’ work calendars by defining holidays and restrictions in just a few clicks.
In Features > STEL Tempo > Settings > Tempo Calendars, you can create as many calendars as you need.
A calendar is defined by a name and the set of holidays it includes. By clicking on any day in the calendar, you can add a holiday.
It’s important to note that a calendar can be used across multiple years. There’s no need to create a “General 2023” calendar and then a separate “General 2024” calendar next year. One “General” calendar is enough — simply set the holidays and restrictions for each year.
Once calendars are defined, all that remains is to assign them to your users. You can assign calendars individually from each user’s profile or in bulk via the Users list, by selecting users and clicking More > Bulk Update > Tempo Calendars.
Once the calendars are assigned, when employees request time off, the system will prevent them from doing so on public holidays.
What’s more, we’ve taken this functionality further: when defining a calendar, you can also specify days when holiday requests are restricted. This way, the software itself will inform employees they’re not allowed to request time off during specific periods.
Please note: It is the employer’s legal obligation to agree upon the establishment of such restrictions with employees or their legal representatives, as part of the official work calendar.
Improvements and small features to support your day-to-day
As always, we’ve included a variety of improvements, small features, and bug fixes. Noteworthy updates include:
Totals in listings. Now, when you navigate, search, or filter your invoice or document lists, the system will automatically display the total amount of all listed items at the bottom. If you wish to hide this total for certain users, you can do so via their role settings.
New date filters. To help with your daily work, we’ve added new “Today” and “Yesterday” date filters.
Report optimisations. We’ve applied multiple optimisations to your STEL Order reports so you get the data you need at lightning speed.
Multiple improvements to the Android app. You can now update the status of job requests directly from the list — no need to open, edit, and save. Simply click on the status and change it instantly.
We hope you enjoy the update!
